THE BEIJING DUCKS CC

The Beijing Ducks Cricket Club are based in Beijing and aim to become the social highlight of any cricket teams season. We welcome all new players regardless of ability.

 

Affiliated to the Beijing Cricket Club (BCC) 

 

Formed in 2016 over a few beers by T -Bag, Double D and Cheese the Ducks went on to quickly recruit members from all around Beijing and the world.

 

Starting with a few social games and entering the Beijing Cricket Clubs T20 league in 2016 gave us a good start to our debut season. We entered and somehow won the Nanjing Rural 6's competition and brought back the coveted "Sean Connery Shield of Dreams".
 

2017's season saw us enter the BCC T25 league, despite some great performances and very close games we finished 4th out of 5 teams.

We had better luck in the T20 cup finishing runners up.

May saw us head down to Nanjing to defend the Sean Connery Shield of Dreams unfortunately we enjoyed the social side too much and despite a great weekend we didn't return with any silverware.

 

November saw a trip to the Philippines and another 6's competition. Again great nightlife didn't help but we somehow made the semi finals of our division and made some great connection for future tours. Watch this space. 

At the moment the format looks like it will consist of a 25 over league throughout the season.

2018 starts with a Chiang Mai appearance at the 31st annual sixes, then we are all set for the BCC league and cup plus Nanjing and the Philippines and maybe Mongolia.
